Request to initiate a direct upload of the indicated file to a file repository. This request does not accomplish the upload but the response to the request contains one or more URLs that allow the caller to authenticate to and securely perform the upload for the requested file to the file repository. The caller will directly upload the file with either a single PUT request for small file sizes, or in multiple PUT requests for large file sizes, where each multipart request uploads a chunk of the file and these chunks can be uploaded independently and in parallel with each other.
